Project details
Initially, IT Bites was appointed to decommission PeopleSoft Global Payroll (GP) in favour of an outsourced payroll solution. This meant we now had the full life cycle for GP under our belts – we had put it in (a number of times), changed it and now we were taking it out!
Having successfully worked with the outsourcer to move away from GP, IT Bites was further engaged to lead a PeopleSoft roll-out across EMEA. Having developed detailed roll-out plans, we also developed training materials to run courses for 120 users across 39 countries, and that training was planned and executed by us and associates.
A third engagement saw IT Bites partner with Marsh as they looked into Global Business Process Outsourcing of HR. Involving 40 countries and representatives, IT Bites contributed to documenting ‘as is’ business processes across EMEA; development of plans and Statements of Work.
In the end, Marsh decided to retain HR in-house and our final engagement saw us lead a PeopleSoft upgrade project. This project involved migrating the Marsh regional PeopleSoft instance into the Global MMC instance, based in the US. IT Bites and its associates successfully completed this project alongside in-house teams and other partners.
