Unilever believed that if it clearly stated, from the
outset, it's expectations regarding the outcome and deliverables, this would be
a key factor in the eventual success of the Payroll Project.
A Quality Plan aimed to clarify the expectations, so that
they could be agreed with suppliers appointed to the project. The plan also
aimed to identify the means by which achievement could be assessed upon product
delivery. In essence, it established the quality regime that would apply to the
Project.
