Payroll Office The accommodation and staffing of the greenfield site
Trained Workforce Ensuring that Project and Operational teams were suitably trained
Employee Payment Interface The processes that need to be engineered to ensure that employees are physically paid
Employee Interface Understanding and delivering the processes related to the interaction between an employee and the new payroll office
Line Manager Interface Understanding and delivering the processes related to the interaction between a line manager and the new payroll office
Company Interface Understanding and delivering the processes related to the interaction between an Operating Company and the new payroll office (as well as any ad hoc processes)
SAP Financials Interface Delivering processes to the strategic financial systems in Unilever
PeopleSoft HR Interface Delivering processes to HR modules
Profund Interface Delivering processes to Unilevers Pension Fund
P11D Interface Delivering processes to statutory bodies
Software Specification Developing an accurate specification of requirements from which the supplier would build the system. The specification would be based on Initiation stage analysis (data, interfaces etc) as well as all of the processes listed above.
System Delivery Installation of the software solution in its base format and, using the Software Specification, the build and configure of the Unilever system
Capita Run-off Extracting data from legacy payroll system and formatting it ready for the new payroll system
Pilot Database The import of legacy data on to a database configured to Unilevers requirements
Pilot User Acceptance Testing Unilevers own testing of the system and data migration
Live Environment Managing the transition from pilot to operational payroll and creating a model for rolling-in remaining payrolls.
Archive Strategy Create a strategy for dealing with legacy payrolls and the paperwork that would be produced by them and the new payroll office. Strategy to form basis of a separate project.
