Initiation
By Christmas 2000, we needed to understand our project and plan it fully. The
Initiation Stage aimed to:
 | Understand all of Unilevers payrolls |
 | Determine the solution |
 | Have a detailed project definition and plan |
By 1st November 2000, we had achieved the:
 | creation of a database documenting over 1,500 pay elements in use
across the 44 payrolls, along with details of reports, interfaces etc
which would form the basis of our requirements |
 | selection of PeopleSoft8 HRMS and Global Payroll as our solution and
appointment of PeopleSoft Consulting as our implementation partner |
 | full definition of our project with a detailed 'Project Initiation
Document' (PID) |
