Background

S&NR are a major supporter of PeopleSoft products, and are implementing v8.8 HCM and Global Payroll for 35,000 UK employees. This has been an exciting project working with a very good client. After an initial engagement to supply and adapt the complete Global Payroll End User Support Pack, IT Bites has continued to work with S&NR in specialist customisations that they have made, along with the delivery of training courses to test teams in preparation for UAT and Parallel run phases of the project.

Deliverables

1. 12 Lesson Global Payroll End User Training Course, developed to include Absence Processing and bespoke functionality around a Back Office interface

2. In excess of 150 transactional guides (TaGs) documenting typical PeopleSoft processes

3. A series of IT Bites led end user training events

Delivery

IT Bites have worked closely with S&NR as their client and with S&NRs implementation partner, Cedar. A good relationship developed with all parties which allowed each of us to add value in each others areas of responsibility.

The delivered template materials were greatly expanded to include additional standard payroll processes, as well as new and specific ones to S&NR. Considerable work has also been undertaken in the area of Absence processing, further enhancing IT Bites knowledge of this area.

Training events have been well received and feedback is positive.
