Spirit Group Although the project was eventually cancelled, IT Bites learnt some valuable lessons when we were asked to troubleshoot a Global Payroll implementation of some 35,000 employees.
International Development Organisation IT Bites joined the programme to bring it's PeopleSoft implementation experience in designing a greenfield centralised payroll unit to be established in Copenhagen. PeopleSoft 8 Global Payroll End User Support PackIT Bites in now able to offer a fully customisable End User Support pack which documents in excess of 150 transactional processes and provides a model for End User Training (see Products). The following projects have seen IT Bites successfully implement the pack, enabling us to understand a wide variety of Global Payroll implementations.
peoplelink GP End User ProjectFollowing the success of the Service Centre Training project, IT Bites provided further assistance with Unilever Global Payroll team. This amounted to the development of class based training, along with 'Train the Trainer' guides. At the same time, Quick reference Sheets were developed for users which allowed them to understand, and standardise, the way every Payroll transactional process was to be enacted. peoplelink Service Centre Training ProjectIT Bites partnered with the Unilever peoplelink organisation to develop and deliver a training programme for a new Service Centre. Click here for more info. Unilever Global Payroll ProjectThis 21 month, greenfield site project sought to consolidate Unilevers 40+ UK payrolls into a single instance. IT Bites were involved through the full life cycle. We literally started with a blank sheet of paper back in the summer of 2000, when the National Finance Director initiated the project, and by April 2002, we had successfully gone live with a new UK Payroll office paying over 10,000 employees using PeopleSoft8 HRMS & Global Payroll..
