Background

Marsh Corporate Services successfully implemented PeopleSoft v8.01 HCM/Global Payroll as one of the early adopters in the UK.

They have now reached the stage in the product lifecycle where they have had to make a decision regarding upgrade. This has led to the establishment of the Payroll Outsourcing Project (POP) which aims to transfer payroll processing to an external provider, and in so doing simplify the PeopleSoft application by removing all payroll related customisations, which are significant. This will then leave them better placed to consider their next steps.

IT Bites have been appointed as PeopleSoft Functional consultants.

Deliverables

1. Re-engineered HR PeopleSoft processes, supported by all appropriate documentation

2. Definition of PeopleSoft changes - Functional and Technical

3. Establishment and execution of a full User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan

4. User documentation

5. Development and Delivery of a User Training plan

Delivery

The project successfully completed in December 2005 and IT Bites provided post go live operational support until the summer of 2006.

Since then, IT Bites has been further engaged by Marsh on an EMEA PeopleSoft rollout; move of Payroll to shared services and an Upgrade of UK PeopleSoft into Marsh Global instance.
