Background

Compel Business Solutions (formerly Allinity Ltd) have a major contract to support and develop PeopleSoft solutions for a large UK Government department. This is a HCM 8.8 project, with approaching 100,000 employees with a large number using manager and employee self service for functions such as Recruitment; Performance and Learning and Development.

IT Bites has been appointed as Project manager of the PeopleSoft consultants to ensure that a significant rate of change is progressed as smoothly as possible. In the first 2 years of this contract, in excess of 1400 Change request have been received and managed. These vary from small tasks such as admin, right up to major projects such as deployment of eRecruit, ePerformance etc.

Deliverables

1. Agreed work plans with all parties

2. Maintaining relationship between Compel and the Department

3. Consultant tasking and tracking

4. Strategic advice in areas such as Release Management; Environment Strategy; Test Strategy etc

Delivery

The project is ongoing until April 2008.
