Background

This project, due to go live in the Spring of 2004, saw the purchase of IT Bites Global Payroll End User Support Pack.

Allen & Overy are implementing version 8.8 and were keen to use IT Bites material to support both testing and operational phases of the project. The flexibility of the IT Bites solution also gave them the confidence that they would be able to customise the documentation themselves and that this was something they would do in parallel with the main configuration phase of the project.

Deliverables

1. An End User Training Course comprising 11 lessons in template form

2. A Processing Guide documenting in excess of 153 transactions that Allen & Overy were likely to undertake in the live operation. Again, provided in template format

3. A Guide on the customisation of the materials

Delivery

IT Bites demonstrated it's flexibility by working with Allen & Overy to provide a solution that matched their needs, yet was able to be provided on budget. A delivery model was agreed whereby IT Bites arranged a handover of all template materials and provided training on their implementation - i.e. tailoring them to reflect the Allen & Overy business process.

The Allen & Overy project team then took on the responsibility of developing the materials with IT Bites returning later in the project to provide a QA phase to ensure that this had been achieved successfully.
