Significant involvement in 2 PeopleSoft projects at the United Nations providing strategic advice regarding HCM and Global Payroll deployment.

Analysis of operational payroll processes and the identification and documentation of all interaction with the PeopleSoft Global Payroll Module.  This led to the development of an operational procedures manual covering over 150 payroll processes and a 3 day end user Global Payroll Training course.  This has now been successfully utilised within six Global Payroll projects

Designed and delivered eight PeopleSoft training courses for end-users in support of Unilevers’ HR Shared Service Centre launch.  These not only covered the application itself but in particular focused on the meaning and context of business data maintained.

Promoted to Global HRMS Application Manager at Unilever and led the UK in respect of their PeopleSoft Implementation.  I was responsible in liaison with the US for:  the proto-typing phase; leading end user BPR workshops; creation and sign-off of all functional requirements definitions; design and execution of data migration from legacy HR systems; and managed go-live.

Was HR Lead on the UK team responsible for the first live implementation of PeopleSoft 8 Global Payroll. 

 


 

 

Synopsis

 Since 1997, Nikki has been involved in various implementations of the PeopleSoft application covering version 5.1 through to Version 8.8.  This now includes over 4 years commercial exposure to version 8 as she was involved with one of the first UK Implementations.

Within this time Nikki has led one full-cycle PeopleSoft 8 HRMS Implementation; been a senior member of the team on one full-cycle PeopleSoft 8 Global Payroll Implementation; led 1 PeopleSoft upgrade; and been responsible for the implementation of most of the HRMS modules including:  Workforce Administration; Positions; Absence; Training; Health & Safety; and Payroll Interface to name a few.

Since working with the PeopleSoft application Nikki has carried out a wide variety of activities mainly focused on the implementation or upgrade of the application from a functional perspective and, among other responsibilities, have: 

o        Managed functional and technical teams
o        Led workshops regarding prototyping, business needs analysis and fit/gap
o        Created and led sign-off of functional specifications
o        Led and managed execution of all phases such as Data Conversion, UAT and Go-live
o        Developed and delivered a range of End User Training Courses covering modules such as Workforce Administration; Position Management; Base Benefits; Global Payroll and Query Reporting.
o        Created numerous operational procedures manuals covering processes in connection with HR Admin; Benefits Admin and Operational Payroll.
o        Carried out Training Needs Analysis and developed and executed plans for end-user training.

Nikki is extremely task orientated & able to quickly grasp the requirements of the activity and is comfortable taking ownership managing the task to a successful outcome.  She has excellent influencing skills and is experienced dealing with employees at all levels including end users; business process managers; and colleagues on technical teams.
